Mark J. Metzler

Mark J. Metzler, Esq. is an associate attorney whose practice spans civil litigation and criminal defense and appeals.

Born and raised in the Philadelphia area, Mark graduated from La Salle College High School and La Salle University, where he earned his B.S. and M.B.A. in accounting and international business. While at La Salle, he was inducted into the Beta Gamma Sigma honors society and received the Accounting Department Award as the top graduating senior in his program.

After graduation, Mark practiced as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the audit group of a Big Four public accounting firm, where he developed a strong foundation in financial analysis, regulatory compliance, and reviewing complex financial records. He later pursued a legal career focused on advocacy and direct representation, with an emphasis on protecting individuals and small businesses in high-stakes disputes.

During law school, Mark was selected for the Business Law Concentration and participated in both a Litigation Practicum and a Criminal Sentencing Practicum, where he built on his accounting background to develop into a well-rounded, practice-ready litigator. He was active in the OUTLaw student organization and received the award for Best Legal Memorandum, reflecting his strength in legal analysis and written advocacy. Mark also served as a judicial extern in the chambers of a federal appellate judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.

Mark earned his J.D. from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law and is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania. He represents clients in state and federal courts and is known for precise motion practice and a practical, outcome-focused approach to litigation.

Mark is an elected committeeperson in Philadelphia’s 21st Ward. Outside the office, Mark likes golfing, spending time at the beach in Sea Isle City, NJ, and walking his plott hound, Hildy, around Philadelphia.
