Attorney
Adam is a Scranton native and a trial lawyer practicing criminal defense and civil litigation. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Temple University with a Criminal Justice Distinction in Major and began his legal career interning with the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office. In May 2018, Adam joined Michael T. van der Veen’s firm, serving as a law clerk until his admission to the bar in October 2023.
While serving as a law clerk, Adam was involved in some of the most consequential litigation in the country, including traveling to Washington, D.C. as a member of the defense team that secured a historic acquittal for President Donald J. Trump during the Fourth Presidential Impeachment Trial.
Since becoming a licensed attorney, Adam has been instrumental in securing multiple six- and seven-figure personal injury settlements and has helped obtain acquittals at trial for criminal defendants on charges including burglary, robbery, aggravated assault, and other serious felony offenses. He has also successfully secured a mistrial with prejudice by exposing serious prosecutorial misconduct. Adam has worked on numerous high-profile matters, including the defense of Brandon “Bam” Margera, and is known for his aggressive courtroom advocacy and trial-ready approach.
Adam earned his Juris Doctor from Delaware Law School, where he focused on trial advocacy and oral argument. He held leadership roles in the Moot Court Honor Society, competed nationally, and earned induction into the Order of Barristers. He also competed as a member of the Moe Levine Trial Team in a national federal trial competition, earning the James Manderino Award from the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association for outstanding trial advocacy. Adam also served as a Certified Legal Intern with the Chester County District Attorney’s Office, where he conducted preliminary hearings on behalf of the Commonwealth.
Adam was admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania in 2023 and is also admitted in New Jersey, the United States District Court for the Eastern and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania, and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. He has additionally been admitted pro hac vice in Washington, D.C. and Delaware.
Outside of the courtroom, Adam can be found on the golf course.

Representative Cases
- Secured a Not Guilty verdict for a client charged with Aggravated Assault, Robbery, Burglary, and other serious felony and misdemeanor offenses by effectively impeaching the credibility of the complaining witness and presenting a compelling alibi defense.
- After a jury was empaneled, opening statements were delivered, and multiple witnesses testified, successfully obtained a mistrial with prejudice by identifying and exposing substantial prosecutorial misconduct.
- Assisted in the successful representation Brandon “Bam” Margera in Delaware and Chester Counties. In Delaware County, all charges were dismissed. In Chester County, all Misdemeanor counts were dismissed and Mr. Margera pled guilty to summary citations.
