Often, in a business setting, when you fall in somebody’s business, the insurance company has med-pay, a policy of insurance that will pay your medical bills immediately. Sometimes, if you fall in a place that doesn’t have insurance or doesn’t have med-pay, the property owner or the occupier of the land, or the person who created the hazard that had you fall, will be responsible for your medical bills, but it’s going to take a little while to recover because you have to take them to court and make them pay.
