Can I sue the driver of the car I was riding in if I was injured in a Pennsylvania car accident?

Return to Video FAQs

If you were in a motor vehicle accident in Pennsylvania and the fault was the driver of the vehicle in which you were a passenger, you can absolutely sue them. Before doing so, you just want to make sure that they were actually at-fault, because if they weren’t, then you really should not bring a cause of action against them. You will look to the other driver of maybe another vehicle who was at-fault when looking to sue.
